Halcyon Apartment is a brand new luxury holiday apartment with superb views and top class facilities awarded 4 star grading and a Gold Award for 2010. It has central heating and free wifi throughout. The spacious living room offers original Victorian fireplace and sympathetic decor, generous seating, 42" flat screen with PC link, DVD/CD player, books, magazines, games, and even a wine cooler. 

The glamorous main bedroom with kingsize bed and optional child bed has gorgeous soft furnishings and subtle lighting effects which cocoon you in sumptuous luxury. There is generous storage space in the double full height mirrored wardrobe and for your entertainment there is a flatscreen TV with DVD.

Thirties decor and ambiance make bedroom 2 very special - step back into the days of Miss Marple and Agatha Christie. The orginal walnut veneer bedroom suite is complemented by velvet and silk furnishings and an  original 1930s 'Weekend Book' makes ideal reading to get you into holiday mood. Period novels on the bookshelf enhance your escape into times gone by.

By contrast the bathroom couldn't be more modern. The grand scale porcelain wall tiles and pewter glass mosaics are complemented by the steel and white suite with spa bath and double shower wet area. The mood adjustable lighting transports you. With quality to match any five star international hotel '...you could be anywhere in the world' - and as you shower you can look out to the Dark Peak hills and moors.

The tranquil dining area with stunning feature lighting and original artworks seats 4 guests in comfort. Additional table and chairs are available for entertaining if required. Ideal if you are visiting family - invite them back for dinner during your stay.

Access -By Car from the M60 take the M67 to Glossop/Sheffield then the A57. At the Gun Inn turn right towards Glossop to the mini roundabout at Woolley Bridge where you turn left towards Hadfield. Continue along past Graphite Way roundabout to the New Lamp mini roundabout - turn right up Station Road and Halcyon is about 400m up on the left - to park go past and next left is a free public car park behind Halcyon.

Public Transport - We are 200m down the road from the train station which has a regular service with Manchester. Bus stops are 100m away linking with Glossop Stockport Ashton and Manchester. Links from Glossop run into the Peak District regularly.

The entrance to the apartment is on the right of Halcyon Restaurant with a small step into the hallway and a flight of stairs with handrail leading up to the apartment. Once upstairs all rooms are on the same level apart from a step down into the bathroom. A chair can be provided in the shower area if required.
